Affiliate disclosure

Last updated October 26, 2026.

BackupEngineer is free to use. Some links on this site are affiliate links: we get commissions for purchases made through those links. It costs you nothing extra.

How you'll know

• Every affiliate link is labeled (paid link) right next to it, for example: [AFFILIATE LINK] (paid link)
• Every page that contains affiliate links also says so near the top, not just here.

What it never changes

• The calculator's math and recommended sizes are brand-neutral. Commissions never change the sizes the calculator shows.
• We won't imply we've tested a product hands-on when we haven't. If a company ever sends us a free product to review, we'll say so on that review.
